With better information about terrorism, citizens can be effective tools in their governments’ efforts to track terrorist activity and prevent future attacks.  The CELL intends to facilitate knowledge-sharing, learning and self-reflection as our society takes on terrorism as the most challenging threat to our way of life today.

Well-informed citizens can properly interpret news reports about terrorism; they can probe their investments and charitable contributions to ensure they are not inadvertently supporting terrorist organizations; and they can become local leaders in disaster preparedness and prevention.
